Announcing the news in summertime 2020, the BBC said in a statement: "To celebrate a decade of one of the well-nigh loved British offense dramas, Sara will appear in a special two-episode story.
"Returning to Saint Marie for the starting time time since her difference, Camille is thrown into an ongoing investigation involving her mother, Mayor Catherine Bordey.
"Catherine's life is turned upside downwardly when the death of a friend pulls her into grave danger.
"How will the example unfold, and will we see old acquaintances reunited?"
In the two-part episode, Camille was contacted by Commissioner Selwyn (Don Warrington) after her female parent, Catherine Bordey (Élizabeth Bourgine), was attacked and left in a blackout.

Camille immediately flew to the island of Saint-Marie to assist in the investigation, working closely with DI Neville Parker (Ralph Little).
Also in her two-office render, Martins was reunited with her flavor ane co-star, Ben Miller.
Miller reprised his role as DI Richard Poole and in an emotional scene, Richard and Camile were reunited on the beach in a dream sequence.
Richard reassured Camille her mother would survive her surgery and encouraged Camille to keep the faith.
He told her: "My point is, they've always been a hardy bunch - the French - stoic, expect at Joan of Arc."
Richard connected: "But if at that place'southward 1 thing I know more than anyone, i affair I've learned, is that feeling regret about things you never did, or yous never said, it'south a waste product of time.
"All that matters is how we human action in the here and at present, in this moment, [then] accept this moment while you accept it to become and exist with her, concord her hand and just let her know that....you lot love her."
Whether Martins volition continue in her role in season 11 of Death in Paradise remains unknown at the moment.
